NRA Basic Pistol Course -
Basic Pistol
This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun
handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued
opportunities for skill development. Students will take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

Concealed Carry Handgun
Course -
Concealed Carry Handgun
The Concealed Carry handgun permit class introduces and explains the laws of the state of North Carolina. This class discusses safety with
firearms and the myths and truths of NC concealed carry laws. There is a practical shooting course requirement. Concealment techniques and holster choice is explained. Upon completion, the
student will be able to demonstrate safe gun handling and safety procedures, shoot proficiently at 3 yards, 5 yards, and 7 yards, as well have an opportunity to shoot at instructors' distance. Also,
the student will receive a completion award and be eligible to apply for a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.
